  • What is the mPAYvn payment application? What is QR Code?
  • mPAYvn is a payment application developed on smartphone platform by OnePAY JSC. This application allows customers to link bank cards and make payment for goods / services at websites and points of sale through QR Code scanning.

    QR Code is a bar code format that contains encrypted information of acceptant payment point. Customers scan this QR code with the mPAYvn application to make payments.

  • What devices can OnePAY mPAYvn be used on?
  • OnePAY mPAYvn app can be installed and used on smartphones running Android / iOS (Android 4.0+ and iOS 8+ devices).

  • What banking service needed for my card so that I can use mPAYvn payment function?
  • Your card must register for the service required by each bank to use mPAYvn payment service. You can contact the bank via phone number provided in the back of bank card for detailed service instruction.

  • How to download and create mPAYvn account? Payment steps through mPAYvn?
  • Step 1: You can download OnePAY mPAYvn application at Google Play/ App store. After installation, you open the application, select Sign up for an account and fill in the information as instructed. To complete the registration, you must enter a verification code sent to the phone number you have registered.

    Step 2: After successful registration, you sign in and select the "Account and Card" feature to link your bank card to mPAYvn. The application will ask you to fill in the card information in a form and end by entering the bank verification code sent to your phone.

    Step 3: To make a payment, select the "QR Code Scan" feature in the main screen. At this moment, the application switches to the camera screen and points the camera towards the QR Code displayed on the website or at the point of sale so as to identify the code.

    Step 4: The user confirms the order, selects the card, and selects payment to complete the order.

  • Do I need to enter a password when making a payment?
  • Depending on the payment transaction value, you may be asked for an application password, a payment password or not.

    An application password is static. It is created by a user during an account registration process.

    A payment password is the one-time password for one transaction. It is sent to you via SMS at the time you make the payment. "

  • Does mPAYvn have a payment limit?
  • mPAYvn application does not set a payment limit. However, a payment limit through mPAYvn depends on your card payment limit issued by your bank.

  • Where can I use mPAYvn?
  • You can use mPAYvn to pay in different websites and retailers. Lists of mPAYvn acceptant points are regularly updated in the "Network" feature in the app.

    For physical acceptant points, customers can easily identify mPAYvn by displayed logos/ decals.

  • Is my mPAYvn account able to be used on different devices?
  • Your OnePAY mPAYvn account can be used on a variety of devices. However, at the same time, your account can only be used on one device. If you want to switch to another device you must log in and enter the authentication code to complete switching . At this point, the account connection on the old device will be disconnected (logged out).

  • I forgot my password, how to retrieve the password?
  • mPAYvn application supports password recovery. You use the "Forgot password" function and follow the instruction to set a new password.

  • What should I do if my phone is lost?
  • In case of losing phone, you need to:

    Ask for the issuer bank to lock cards / banking accounts linking mPAYvn application.

    Notify telecommunication service provider to lock your phone number.

  • What bank cards can I link to my mPAYvn account? Can I link different cards to mPAYvn application?
  • You can link domestic ATM cards of all participating banks with mPAYvn such as Sacombank, SCB ... The list of domestic banks connecting to mPAYvn will be regularly updated on our website.

    At the same time, a mPAYvn account can be linked to different bank cards.

  • If customers agree to co-operate with mPAYvn, how long does it take to start using the service officially? Does OnePAY support deployment and usage guidance for customers?
  • Businesses can start using the service within 5-7 business days from the date of signing the mPAYvn contract with OnePAY company.
